Lyda is a dedicated professional with 19 years of experience in process engineering and project management in the manufacturing industry. Her professional career includes a strong focus on technical training and significant experience in the automotive industry.

As a Sr. Process Engineer, Lyda has successfully managed the relocation of automotive product lines and has developed training programs to ensure compliance with customer requirements. With a background in Process Improvement and Project Engineering roles, Lyda has led projects enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiency.

Lyda’s expertise extends to technical training programs, where she has designed and delivered employee training on Maximo Software for enterprise asset management and process improvement initiatives including 5S and Standard Work. Her proficiency in Lean manufacturing techniques, Asset Management, Six Sigma and Demand Supply Compression (DSC) FrameworX™ methodologies has been instrumental in driving quality improvements and cost savings across various projects.

Lyda holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Javeriana. Certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt, an IATF 16949:2016 Internal Auditor, and fluent in both Spanish and English, Lyda brings a diverse skill set and a strong foundation in engineering and business management to her work.
